For over 25 years Michael Prendergast has been solving graphic problems for clients. He can expertly illustrate your product or concept, from black and white exploded user manual illustrations to full color perspective drawings.

From an early age, Mike has been interested in understanding how mechanical things worked. This curiosity plus a talent for precise drawing merged into his specialty: technical and product illustration. While most often working in Adobe Illustrator and Creative Suite, Mike's repertoire of skills includes hand-rendering in pencil, watercolor, and airbrush when appropriate for the job.

He services businesses, advertising agencies, graphic designers and writers who need the understanding and skill of a professional designer/illustrator.

Mike graduated from Vesper George School of Art in Boston in Graphic Design and Illustration. He has taught Adobe Illustrator in area schools and has received awards for his work.

The Process:

  • Mike offers a no-charge, no obligation initial consultaion which includes an in-depth discussion of your needs.
     
  • We will agree upon a project cost and time line for completion.
     
  • Depending on the project, preliminary drawings for approval may be created. Often photographs are taken for reference and to be used as a basis for creating illustrations.

Mike lives and works in Newburyport, Massachusetts. When not in his studio, he can often be found playing traditional Irish music on his concertina in music sessions around the Boston area.
